As a San Diego County native, up-and-coming real estate agent David Wennerstrom has enjoyed coastal living for his whole life. As a realtor, David gets to share his love of San Diego with others. David currently serves clients in Encinitas, Leucadia, Cardiff, Olivenhain, Carlsbad, and Solana Beach. His passion for the area and first-hand experiences help him create lasting connections with his clients, his favorite part of the business.
David left college with a marketing degree and pursued that path for many years. He had a remarkable career as an EVP of sales in the fashion industry for 35 years. His prior experience in sales and management has given him a strong skill set that he’s used daily since joining the Compass team in 2021.
The connections David makes with his clients aren’t surface level. He doesn’t form relationships solely due to the nature of the business, but because he enjoys it. David is known for being personable with each and every client, developing a level of trust and ease throughout the entire home buying and selling process. The service that Compass and David provide continues to exceed expectations. This is David and his team's goal with every transaction, to go above and beyond.
David’s natural people skills make him easy to work with. His target audience is affluent clients who enjoy coastal living. Through personal experience and research of the field, David is able to understand his client's desires and find them what they’re truly looking for. He might even share some of his favorite restaurants in the area, as he’s known for being quite the foodie.
When David isn’t working with clients, he enjoys staying active, and enjoying the beach lifestyle of Encinitas.Surfing his favorite spots, riding his bike with his family on Neptune and the 101, or playing a round of golf with his friends at Encinitas Ranch.The beautiful California weather provides unique opportunities for an active lifestyle. David also enjoys traveling, listening to live music and eating out at some of his favorite restaurants around town. David and his wife of 29 years, Lynda, have three beautiful daughters and a loving dog named Riley.
